Meals on Wheels America is comprised of more than 5,000 community-based programs, all of which are committed to addressing the welfare of senior citizens. Through nutritious meal delivery along with in-person, at-home meetings, Meals on Wheels aims to address hunger, food scarcity and malnutrition among one of the nation’s most vulnerable populations, but also realizes the need for social interaction to counter isolation and decline.
